The Adelaide Football Club is aware of the AFL finalising an investigation into reports of alleged racial vilification of a player by a member of the crowd during a Round 20 game at Adelaide Oval.
After a lengthy investigation, the League will be taking no further action on the grounds that spectators in the vicinity gave conflicting accounts and the making of the comment, nor its nature, could be substantiated.
The Club wants to reiterate that it strongly condemns any form of discrimination or vilification in our game or the community, and racism has no place in our society.
