Key forward Lewis Johnston booted seven goals straight for North Adelaide in the SANFL on Sunday to push his claims for an AFL call-up.
Johnston, who was sidelined for more than two months by a knee injury earlier this season, continued his good SANFL form with a 16-possession, nine mark performance featuring some fine kicking on goal in a 105-point win over South Adelaide.
Crows-listed players dominated the game at Woodville on Saturday. Jared Petrenko was outstanding for the Eagles but Matthew Jaensch, Sam Kerridge and rookie Tim McIntyre were keys to Sturt’s win.
Central District had the bye.
