On scene with former teammates at the Gepps Cross drive-in movie theatre, Adelaide Premiership Skipper Mark Bickley couldn’t help but reflect.

Bickley was one of eight Crows on deck for a new Toyota ad aimed at celebrating the long-standing partnership - now more than 30 years.

Adelaide’s original No. 26 was thrown in a vintage Toyota Corolla with former teammate Matthew Robran to reflect on the last 30 years.

“It’s a bit of a flashback,” Bickley said.

“It shows how time flies. It seems like not that long ago the Club was being formed and then we were just retiring and now we are now has been’s.”

“I remember at the time thinking it (the vintage Camry) was a cracking model, it was new, it was innovative for the time and it was a new shape.

Bickley and Robran were just two of the pairings however, with Chris McDermott, Rod Jameson, Nathan van Berlo, Courtney Cramey, Rory Sloane and Chelsea Randall all featuring.

On this week’s episode of The Crows Show, fans will get a behind the scenes look at how the commercial was made and the former Crows stars involved.

Sloane, who has been part of the Crows’ family for the past 13 years, said it was important to celebrate the past, as well as the future, and this new ad was something special.

“We almost wanted to film a little history piece and give a time lapse of our sponsorship with Toyota, where it started from and where it is at now,” Sloane said.

McDermott was an inaugural squad member and played 117 AFL games for Adelaide from 1991-1996 and said Toyota’s support for the Club from day one could never be underestimated.

“Toyota’s (sponsorship) was enormous,” McDermott said.

“It was such a big brand which put its support behind the Adelaide Footy Club and provided a real bit of almost like a bit of Hollywood and a bit of glitz and glamour.

“Having a big, strong brand behind us just gave the Club, the team, the players and the fans a real lot of confidence that this was a really serious footy Club.”

Also on The Crows Show, Reilly O'Brien joins Tom Doedee to discuss his Hungry Jack's Whopper Moment, while the Club’s Head of Strength and Power Sam Dodge speaks about the AFL team's strength routine.

The Crows Show airs on Channel 7 this Sunday at 2pm.
