Cycling enthusiasts are being offered an opportunity to cycle beautiful New Zealand while also raising funds for charity through the Crows Children’s Foundation.

From 21-27 of November this year, a group of Crows cyclists will travel to New Zealand and participate in a week of riding around one of the country’s most scenic regions.

Hosted by RIDE Holidays, this trip will be the perfect mix of cycling, sightseeing and Kiwi cuisine, with rides along the Central Plateau and up Mount Ruapehu – a live volcano.

On day four, the cyclists will participate in New Zealand’s benchmark cycling Gran Fondo, joining the cyclists from over 20 countries in the Lake Taupo Cycle Challenge.

There are options for non-cyclists to join the tour, including walks along the Waikato River, to the hot pools at Waireki and a visit to Tongariro National Park.

The seven-day and six-night tour will cost $3700, with $1000 of that a tax-deductible donation to the Crows Children’s Foundation.

Four-star accommodation, at least two meals a day, and events such as visiting the Huka Falls, a wine tasting at Villa Maria winery and trout fishing on Lake Taupo are included.

The Crows Children’s Foundation aims to raise and distribute funds for children in need across Australia through health, education and welfare programs.
