A long goal from Central District’s Chris Jansen with less than a minute left tied the scores in the SANFL round six clash with South Adelaide at Elizabeth.

Brett Eddy kicked four of South’s seven goals and Belconnen recruit Jansen was a prolific ballwinner for the home side, with 32 possessions.

Sturt missed a couple of late chances to take the lead against Port Adelaide before going down by eight points at Alberton. Sam Colquhoun and Sam Gray starred for Port and former Magpie Kory Beard kicked three goals for Sturt.

West Adelaide dominated North Adelaide after quarter-time to win by 78 points at Richmond. Former Crows Jason Porplyzia collected 27 possessions and booted two goals for West.

Woodville-West Torrens resisted a second half lift from Glenelg to record a 23-point win. 

Adelaide’s inexperienced team was overpowered by top side Norwood, beaten by seven goals on Friday night.
