Adelaide will head north to Whyalla in July to face the Roosters in a Round 15 SANFL regional clash.

On Tuesday, the SANFL confirmed three regional games - including the Crows v North Adelaide on Saturday, July 16 at 2.10pm.

Adelaide will also wear its Indigenous Guernsey against the Roosters as confirmed earlier this year.

Crows SANFL and Academies Manager Jarrod Meers said it was always a treat to play in SA’s regional areas.

“We’re really happy about playing in Whyalla,” Meers said.

“The facilities at the newly refurbished Bennett Oval are fantastic and it’s a region we’re really keen to play in – especially given Whyalla is one of our NGA Academy zones.

“Since we entered the SANFL League competition in 2014 we have played 6 regional Home and Away games - winning 4 of them, so this will be another great opportunity to play in regional SA.

"We will proudly wear our club Indigenous Guernsey in Whyalla.”

Adelaide has a strong connection with Whyalla including former players Robert Shirley and Brett Burton, along with inaugural coach Graham Cornes.
