Collingwood’s defence is set to be bolstered this week, with Nick Maxwell, Alex Fasolo and Alan Toovey all likely to be fit to take on Adelaide.
Maxwell (back), Fasolo (toe) and Toovey (hamstring) have been sidelined since the Pies' Anzac Day win over Essendon. Wingman Clinton Young will also undergo a test before returning from his corked thigh, while Sam Dwyer is expected to be fit despite a knee issue picked up against Carlton.
Ben Sinclair is also a chance to return via the VFL from his hamstring strain.
