AFLW captain Chelsea Randall will make her return in the Crows’ Round Four clash against Melbourne.
Adelaide will make four changes for Saturday’s game, with three players falling under the AFL’s Health and Safety Protocols.
Randall comes back into the side after missing the Round Three clash against West Coast due to a minor hamstring injury.
Anne Hatchard, who was taken from the ground in the final quarter of the match against the Eagles, will also play against Melbourne after managing a foot injury during the week.
Justine Mules, Stevie-Lee Thompson and Danielle Ponter will miss the game under the AFL’s Health and Safety protocols while Jasmyn Hewett has been omitted.
Maddi Newman and Lisa Whiteley make their return to the side for the first time since 2021.
Senior Coach Matthew Clarke said his side was looking forward to the challenge of a blockbuster clash against some of the league’s most talented players.
“(Melbourne’s) form in the first three games was good and so is ours, so that makes for an exciting match-up,” Clarke said.
“One of the privileges of footy is that you get to play in big matches, so hopefully that’s what this will be.
“Luckily we’ve got some pretty good players so there will be some great match-ups.”
The Crows take on Melbourne at Norwood Oval on Saturday 29 January, with first bounce at 2.40pm.
