Adelaide veteran Richard Douglas has been ruled out of the Club’s Round 17 clash with Geelong.
Douglas injured his ankle during the last quarter of Friday night’s game against Richmond.

“Unfortunately for Dougie he has a really minor syndesmosis injury,” Hass said.
“Obviously he will be out for this weekend but depending on how he progresses with his rehab he looks to be about two or three weeks.”
The news is better for Daniel Talia who suffered a foot injury during Friday night’s game but was able to play out the game.

“It depends on how he progresses this week through main training and captain’s run but we are hopeful he will get through and play.”

“Eddie has done really well in his rehab, he will train with the main group on Tuesday and should he get through that he will be available,” Hass said.
“'Curly' has progressed really well with his quad, he has increased his kicking and speed load which is really pleasing.”
Elliott Himmelberg was a late withdrawal from the Club’s State League game against Norwood with a calf injury and will be a test for this weekend.
Ruckman Paul Hunter has successfully completed his rehab from ankle surgery and is expected to return for the Club’s Round 14 SANFL game against Port Adelaide in Kadina on Sunday.
Forward Mitch McGovern is at least a further week away as he increases his training loads in a return from a syndesmosis injury.
