Josh Jenkins’ amazing solo effort against Essendon has been voted as the AFL Goal of the Week for Round 14.

Jenkins contested a centre bounce, roved the loose ball and sent home a 70-metre bomb in the third quarter of the clash with the Bombers.

The final result had Jenkins in front with 57 per cent of the vote ahead of Steven Motlop (26 per cent) and Ben Howlett (18 per cent).

It is the second consecutive week that a Crow has won the AFL Goal of the Week following Eddie Betts’ effort from the boundary line against the Kangaroos.

Both Crows are now in the running to win the Hungry Jack's Goal of the Year at the conclusion of the season.

Patrick Dangerfield was also nominated for the weekly award in the opening round of the season.
