Andy Otten was the only Crow to receive recognition from the coaches in Adelaide’s loss to the Western Bulldogs at Etihad Stadium on Sunday.

Starting as a forward and pinch-hitting in the ruck, Otten kicked three goals from 13 possessions and seven marks to attract one vote in the AFL Coaches Association Champion Player of the Year award. It was the fourth time this season the Adelaide swingman has kicked multiple goals in a game.

Six-goal hero Tory Dickson earned maximum votes from Brenton Sanderson and Brendan McCartney. Influential Bulldogs midfielders Tom Liberatore (eight), Adam Cooney (four) and Ryan Griffen (two) collected votes, while key forward Tom Campbell, who kicked four goals, received five votes.

Despite not polling in Round 21, star Crow Patrick Dangerfield remains inside the top 10 (ninth) on the overall leaderboard. Sydney midfielder Kieren Jack (90) still leads the way, while Geelong captain Joel Selwood (88 votes) has overtaken former teammate Gary Ablett (85 votes) in second place.
