Champion small forward Eddie Betts will become the 86th player in AFL/VFL history to join the prestigious 300-game club when he steps onto Adelaide Oval this Sunday.
He will be the sixth Indigenous player to achieve the milestone, following Adam Goodes (372 games), Shaun Burgoyne (358), Andrew McLeod (340), Michael O’Loughlin (303) and Gavin Wanganeen (300).
He will also be the sixth Crow to top 300 games, after McLeod, Tyson Edwards, Mark Ricciuto, Ben Hart and Scott Thompson.
Betts sits clearly atop the leaderboard for most goals kicked at Adelaide Oval, with 157 goals in 62 games at the venue.
The forward’s three goals against North Melbourne in Round Four took his career tally to 569 goals, equal 41st with West Coast’s Josh Kennedy in the AFL/VFL all-time goalkickers list.
Betts has kicked five goals or more in a game on 25 occasions, 15 times in Crows colours. In 2016, he achieved the feat seven times on his way to a career-high 75 goals for the year.
He has booted 50 goals or more in a season five times, once for Carlton in 2011 and in each of his first four seasons with Adelaide from 2014-2017.
Betts is one of just three players in AFL/VFL history to have kicked more than 250 goals at two different clubs, with his 279 goals for Adelaide in 115 games, adding to the 290 goals he booted for Carlton in 184 appearances.
Record goalkicker Tony Lockett (898 goals for St Kilda, 462 for Sydney) and superstar Swan Lance Franklin (580 goals for Hawthorn, 344 for Sydney) are the other two to achieve the feat.
Not only does Betts kick goals, he sets them up as well.
He has recorded 279 goal assists across his career, which ranks No.1 in League history since the statistic began being recorded in 2003.
Betts has played against Gold Coast on eight occasions and kicked 20 goals in those games.
Six of those appearances have been in the tricolours, all of which were won by an average margin of 43 points.
In winning teams across his career, Betts averages 2.4 goals and 1.2 goal assists per game.
Betts has achieved All Australian honours three times in his career, earning consecutive selections in 2015, 2016 and 2017.
He has won the AFL Goal of the Year award on three occasions in 2006, 2015 and 2016.

He was Adelaide's leading goal kicker in his first four seasons at the Club (2014-2017) after topping Carlton's goal kicking tally in 2010 and 2012.
Across his 299 games, Betts has polled 37 Brownlow votes.
Of those votes, 27 have been in a Crows guernsey, with his best year coming in 2016 when he received 10 votes for the season.
Betts has received maximum umpires' votes on just two occasions, against St Kilda in 2015 (17 disposals, six goals) and Essendon in 2017 (22 disposals, six goals).
