Adelaide has named senior defender Luke Brown and Round Four Rising Star Lachlan Sholl in its 26-man extended squad for Round 15.
Brown has not played since facing Richmond in Round 11 due to Achilles soreness but was passed fit earlier this week.
“Luke’s a seasoned defender and one of the first choices selected so to have him back and able to play on some of Carlton’s dangerous small forwards, obviously it will be a real advantage for us this week,” Crows Head of Football Adam Kelly said on Tuesday.
Sholl returns after serving as an unused medical substitute in Round 13 against St Kilda in Cairns.
Jackson Hately, Nick Murray, Elliott Himmelberg have also been named on the extended bench.
Josh Worrell has been omitted.
Adelaide will face Carlton at Marvel Stadium on Sunday with a final 22-man squad to be confirmed on Friday afternoon.
Sunday’s game will commence at 3.40pm ACST (4.10pm local).
The match will be shown live on Channel 7 in Adelaide and nationwide on Fox Footy.
