Adelaide will make one change for its relocated clash against the Tigers at Giants Stadium. 

A growing Covid-19 cluster in Melbourne forced the game to be moved from the MCG, making it just the second time the two sides have faced off outside of South Australia or Victoria.

Defender Will Hamill has been recalled and midfielder Ronin O'Connor omitted. 

"We'll make one change, O'Connor will play in the SANFL - he was our medi-sub last week - and Will Hamill will come in," Senior Coach Matthew Nicks said. 

Nicks said the change of ground wouldn’t affect the way the Crows tackled the task ahead.

“Not a lot has changed for us other than the direction of the flight,” he said.  

"(The shape of) Giants Stadium is similar to Adelaide Oval but it doesn't change a hell of a lot.

"We're not going to change too much when taking on a side like Richmond. It's a massive challenge and (the venue) doesn't really change anything."

Adelaide's final team selection will be released on Friday night ahead of the game.

Sunday's game commences at 1:40pm ACST (2:10pm AEST).
