Crows co-captain Rory Sloane is hopeful to see the return of injured trio Tom Lynch (calf), Wayne Milera Junior (back) and Cam Ellis-Yolmen (shin) for Showdown 47 on Saturday night.
On the back of Adelaide’s 27-point loss to Geelong on Friday night, Sloane said his side would benefit greatly from the addition of all three.
“Both [Lynch and Milera] are looking like they could return, which would be handy,” Sloane told reporters on Monday morning.
“Tommy’s such an important player for us - his link and connection between the mids and the forwards, and the backs and the forwards too, is pivotal for us.
“Wayne’s run and outside balance is something we probably missed on the weekend too.”

Speaking at a press conference at Variety SA , Sloane said Ellis-Yolmen was also a good chance to play.
“[Cam’s] a big boy and we’ve certainly enjoyed having him in our midfield this season,” Sloane said.
“He provides us with a stack of pressure and the ability to win that contested ball as well.”
With plenty of “South Australian pride” on the line, Sloane said the Crows were weary of their cross-town rivals’ midfield depth.
“[Port’s] run and their contested ball work [are there strengths]… I watched some of that Geelong game and it was very impressive,” he said.
“They’ve also got a very deep midfield as well, and that was probably where we lowered ourselves on the weekend.
“As a whole midfield group, we got beaten by Geelong.”

Regardless of the result, Sloane said Showdown’s were “brutal games”.
“Showdowns are always tough games and you know it’s going to be hot because for both teams, there’s a bit of SA pride on the line,” he said.
“That’s why we love playing them because [it has] that finals-like atmosphere.”
The Crows and the Power will compete for the Variety Showdown Shield this Saturday night at Adelaide Oval.
