Adelaide forward Erin Phillips will undergo an arthroscopy on her left knee later this week.
Crows Head of Women’s Football Phil Harper said this surgery had been planned for some time.
“Erin was been playing in some discomfort in her knee over the last five weeks,” Harper said.
“As the recovery for this surgery is four to six weeks, Erin opted to wait until after finals and played out the season with support from our medical team.
“Arthroscopic Surgery is scheduled for this Friday.”
The two-time AFLW Best and Fairest winner had another outstanding season as the Crows 2021 leading goal kicker with 14 goals.
