The sons of two former Crows have been named in the SA Under-16 Squad to contest the 2015 AFL Under-16 National Championships starting this weekend.
Jackson Edwards, the eldest son of Crows 300-gamer Tyson, and James Rowe, son of Stephen, are in the 25-man squad for the Gold Coast based carnival.
South Australia, coached by Darel Hart, will play three matches against Victoria Metro, Victoria Country and Western Australia.
The opening game is against Victoria Metro on Saturday at Metricon Stadium.
Sturt’s Ryan Weidenhofer will captain the McDonald’s SA Under-16 team while Norwood’s Lachlan Pascoe, the son of former Redleg Andrew Pascoe, will be the side’s vice-captain.
