Adelaide’s pre-season is about to go up a notch with the Club and Port Adelaide working towards a practice match at Alberton Oval on Saturday, February 27.
Under changes to the pre-season announced by the AFL in January, each club can organise one practice match with an opponent from its own state before playing one AAMI Community Series game in March.
Adelaide will hold an internal trial game on Saturday, February 20 before playing the Power with the entire squad involved on February 27.
As per an AFL directive, all practice matches will be closed to the public but spectators can attend the AAMI Community Series games which are being held across the country from March 4-8.
The Crows are set to fly to Perth to play Fremantle in the AAMI Community Series at Fremantle Oval on Saturday, March 6.
