Club: Adelaide
Coach: Matthew Clarke
Captain: Chelsea Randall
2020 best and fairest: Anne Hatchard
2020 in a nutshell: From premiers in 2019 to two wins in 2020, it was a forgettable season for the injury-ravaged Crows. Serious knee injuries meant co-captains Chelsea Randall and Erin Phillips were mostly absent, and a steady stream of setbacks to others meant there was no chance for the team to build momentum. They still won plenty of the footy in the midfield but couldn't capitalise in attack, finishing sixth in Conference A.
New players: Jess Sedunary (St Kilda), Hannah Munyard (Western Bulldogs), Lisa Whiteley (GWS), Teah Charlton, Rachelle Martin, Ashleigh Woodland
Notable departures: Courtney Cramey, Jess Foley, Courtney Gum, Sophie Li (all retired)
Inactive players: Nil

Circle it: Co-captain Chelsea Randall returns for her first game at home in round two after a season sidelined with an ACL injury.
Player to watch: Montana McKinnon was a standout junior ruck and will be pushing for the No.1 spot in her second season. Her ability to take strong overhead marks in attack or push back and intercept will make her a valuable player in 2021.
Best Rising Star chance: Teah Charlton
2021 prediction: The return of Randall and a full season from Phillips will be massive for the Crows, who should be expected to return to contention. Games into young players in 2020 has given them more depth and put them in a position to push for a third premiership in five years.
