Patrick Dangerfield has been crowned the Foodland Supermarkets FIVEaa Player of the Year.
The Crows midfielder won the award by two votes from Port Adelaide's Robbie Gray and was a further three votes ahead of Power goalkicker Chad Wingard.
Crows pair Rory Laird (19 votes) and Scott Thompson (18) rounded the top five vote-getters in the award, eligible only for players from both South Australian clubs.
Dangerfield has enjoyed his most consistent season yet in 2015. He played every match of the premiership season averaging a career-best 27 possessions and a goal a game.
He ranked third in the AFL for hard-ball gets, contested possessions and inside 50ms and was seventh for clearances despite playing one less game than many of his rivals. Dangerfield also led Adelaide for disposals and tackles, and was second at the Club in contested marks and loose-ball gets.
He's in contention for his third All Australian honour, was nominated for the AFLPA's MVP Award, was the top Crows vote-getter in the AFL Coaches Association Champion Player of the Year award, and is among the leading contenders for this year's Brownlow Medal.
Adelaide's Eddie Betts also claimed the Phil Hoffman Travel FIVEaa Goal of the Year Award for his left-foot torpedo from the boundary against Fremantle in Round Nine. The goal is among three finalists for the AFL's Goal of the Year title.
