1. Aami Stadium
Cook went to his first Crows game at just five years old. Although he can’t remember who the Crows played, he vividly remembers the “roar of the crowd”.
2. Junior flag
Donning the Happy Valley guernsey in under 17.5s, Cook won a flag in 2019. Not just a bystander, the wing/forward finished best on ground.
3. Volleyball fan
Cook enjoyed his volleyball, right up until 2020. The then 17-year-old made the decision to give up volleyball and focus on his football career… a wise choice in the end.
4. Life away from footy
Although a football career is now underway, Cook still plans to undertake a personal trainer course.
5. Happy in Happy Valley
Born in Mount Barker, Cook’s family moved to Woodcroft when he was just two years old. He’s lived there ever since.
6. Big brother
Cook has a younger sister, Tayla, 15.
7. Personal idol
The 18-year-old looks no further than his dad for inspiration. Cook’s father, Michael, enjoyed a strong football career himself for Happy Valley and South Adelaide.
8. On the court
Cook is a diehard NBA fan and follows closely the careers of LeBron James, Russell Westbrook and Giannis Antetokounmpo.
9. To the States
In the hope that travel to the United States one day returns to some normality, Cook hopes he can make the trip across to watch NBA courtside.
10. Becoming a Crow
Cook couldn’t name one Crow he was excited to link-up with, but did say he wants to learn off every single one of his new teammates.
