The Adelaide Football Club proudly welcomes leading sportswear manufacturer O’Neills as its Official AFL Apparel Partner.
Crows CEO Andrew Fagan said the Club was excited for a new partnership with the international apparel leader.
“O’Neills has built a reputation for excellence across a range of sports and we believe this partnership is a great platform to share their expertise and industry leading products with AFL fans,” Fagan said.
“We have been impressed with their knowledge and application in preparing the 2021 range, particularly the use of their unique and innovative performance fabrics and high-quality supporter wear.
“We are looking forward to sharing the range in coming weeks.”
O’Neills Australasia Director Antoinette Brophy said the company is delighted to announce they will be the Adelaide Football Club’s official apparel provider for the next three years.
“We combine our passion and expertise to create strong partnerships and always provide high quality, high performance apparel and offer superior service to clubs, players, staff and their members and supporters,” Brophy said.
“The professional and grassroots sporting clubs we partner with in Australia and New Zealand have strong and successful histories and values that clearly align with our own and the Adelaide Football Club is no exception.
“O’Neills has a proud history, originating in Ireland in 1918. When we entered the Australian market five years ago, we consciously chose to base ourselves in Adelaide, so it is not insignificant that the first AFL team to join the O’Neills family is the Adelaide Crows – the team for all South Australians.”
O’Neills has been at the forefront in the development of innovative fabrics, and their industry leading engineering and science fabric teams have been developing and sourcing the best in class performance fabrics for use in the Adelaide Football Club’s AFL range.
The fabric in the new Guernsey includes cutting edge nano-technology and anti-bacterial properties which move moisture away from the body, assist with thermal regulation and add a light compression stretch. The inclusion of spandex into the knit allows the guernsey to hug the body while affording a comfortable fit that will leave the players cool and dry at all times.
