Rachelle Martin has proven herself as an inside midfielder and ball magnet with West Adelaide in the SANFL Women’s League.

The 21-year-old was crowned SANFLW’s Best and Fairest in 2020, sharing the honour with Crows superstar Anne Hatchard after a consistent season.

Serving as vice-captain for the Bloods, she averaged 18 disposals, seven tackles and five clearances per game prior to the COVID-19 shutdown period.

Martin, who hails from the Yorke Peninsula, is no stranger to the Crows Women’s Team, having trained with the side on a weekly basis during the 2020 pre-season.

The younger sister of Crows 2019 AFLW premiership player Hannah Button (nee Martin), she made her AFL Women’s debut in Round One as an injury-replacement player due to an injury crisis at West Lakes.
