Key defender Daniel Talia is expected to return for his 200th AFL game in Saturday’s clash with Richmond at Adelaide Oval.
Crows Head of Science and Medicine Steve Saunders said an 11-day break between games for Talia should provide sufficient recovery time.
“We had to manage Daniel last week. He’s had a recurrent effusion in the knee, he wasn’t good enough to play last weekend,” Saunders said.
“He’s had some additional days to recover now and we’re expecting him to be well and truly ready to play his 200th."
Veteran forward Taylor Walker didn’t travel to Queensland for his side’s Round 17 win over Carlton but is also set to return for the final game of Season 2020.
“Tex was close last week. He trained really well, his change of direction was good,” Saunders said.
“He had a little bit of trouble with punch kicks and long kicks
“It was enough trouble for us to think it was a more prudent course to wait until this week, but he’ll certainly be at his best.”
