The Adelaide Football Club is proud to announce that it has signed its 50,000th ticketed member for season 2006 in five-year-old Sean Conroy, from West Lakes.

Sean’s mum Lucy signed him up after a recent Crows in Schools visit and Auskick sessions at his school, Star of the Sea at Henley Beach. There was also some peer pressure from Sean’s best mates and Crows supporters James Rowe (son of past player Stephen) and Cody Dodd.

To acknowledge and celebrate the signing of the club’s 50,000th member, Sean and his family will receive an invitation to the Crows and Geelong game on July 2 as guests of chairman Bill Sanders in the Chairman’s Function. They will also join the team in the rooms before and after the game.

Sean will also receive a complimentary family membership for the 2007 season as well as being the No 1 Crows Nest member next year.

Coach Neil Craig, who met Sean after training at St Peter's College on Wednesday, said: "It's fantastic for our club. It's a great effort by our club and our supporters to be the first AFL club to have 50,000 members. All credit to the people who have become membrs and hopefully we can continue to push on in that area and be a leader in the AFL."
