Scott Thompson produced another best on ground performance to receive the maximum votes from the coaches in the round 20 win over Brisbane.

In another dominant midfield performance, Thompson collected 38 disposals including six inside 50s and 10 clearances.

Nathan van Berlo now sits third in Adelaide’s voting after some strong performances. The skipper had 26 possessions, nine inside 50s and kicked two crucial goals against the Lions.

Carlton midfielder Marc Murphy leads the overall voting on 86, followed closely by his captain and Brownlow favourite Chris Judd on 80.

The 'Champion Player of the Year' is voted on week to week by both of the Senior Coaches on a 5,4,3,2,1 basis.
