Adelaide has already put a line through the names of key defender Nathan Bock and Hayden Skipworth as it prepares to face Melbourne in Friday night's NAB Cup semi-final at AAMI Stadium.

John Hinge (foot) could also join them on the sidelines but the club is confident tagger Robert Shirley (hip) will be fit to face the Demons.

Adelaide, which will train at AAMI Stadium on Tuesday and Thursday at 10am, will be able to consider Ben Hart for his first game of the pre-season period.

But Jason Torney, who strained a quad at training late last week, will miss. Ruckman Matthew Clarke and Michael Doughty should train this week but have not played a pre-season game and therefore may be overlooked and given game time in the SANFL.
