Adelaide’s future “clash” guernsey design options have been unveiled for supporters to provide feedback.
The current version of the clash guernsey - plus two other new designs - have been shortlisted as options for next year.
Crows CEO Steven Trigg said the Club was keen to consider the views of the fans before submitting final designs to the AFL.
He said the Club would again use a white-based clash guernsey next year - as ruled through the AFL - as opposed to needing three different home, away and clash guernseys.
“Our preference is to wear our traditional hooped guernsey as often as possible,” Trigg said.
“This season, for example, we can use the hoops for 17 of our minor round games. To do that we need to have one clash guernsey, so the next one needs to have a white base.”
Trigg said it was an opportunity to crowdsource as many Crows supporters as possible through the Club’s website and social media properties.
“We think you could put up a strong case for any of these three jumpers, so it will be interesting to see if the members and supporters get behind one particular design or if there is a mix of opinions,” he said.
“The player leadership group and coaches have given us their feedback. Now we want to see if the fans agree."
Fans can check out the designs and vote on a 1st, 2nd, 3rd preference system here 19thman.com.au/vote until 2pm on Thursday, May 31.
Management and the Board will then make the final design recommendation, which must be submitted to the AFL for approval.
The three options are:
Murder of Crows: This option adapts Adelaide’s hoop design, with the blue, red and gold stripes wrapped around the guernsey and turning into flying Crows.
Wide V: More of a traditional football guernsey look, with a thicker band of blue and bands of red and gold
Status quo: The current ‘clash’ guernsey features the Club logo
