Ben Hart’s bid to prove he can overcome his Achilles tendon problem will lead him to the SANFL reserves on Saturday.

While his Crows team-mates are preparing to play an AFL preliminary final, four-time All Australian Hart will line-up at half back for North Adelaide reserves in its second semi-final at Broadspectrum Oval.

Hart, who skipped the reserves grade when at North as a junior in the early 90s before advancing to make his Crows debut in 1992, has missed the past two games.

Crows emergencies Ken McGregor and Kris Massie will not play in the SANFL reserves on Saturday morning, just in case they are required for AFL action.

But John Meesen, Darren Pfeiffer and Chad Gibson will play for Norwood reserves against North and Bernie Vince will play for the Eagles reserves in their first semi-final against Norwood at The Parade.

Hayden Skipworth (Eagles) and Ben Hudson (North) will play in SANFL league finals at Adelaide Oval on Sunday.

Chris Knights is another week away from being cleared to play.
