Crows to fight Burton penalty
Adelaide has chosen to challenge the two-week suspension offered to wingman/forward Brett Burton.
Crows football operation general manager John Reid said the club would seek a downgrade from intentional to reckless. If successful, this would reduce the penalty from two games to one.
The AFL Tribunal will hear the case on Wednesday at 5pm.
Meanwhile, key forward Ian Perrie had arthroscopic surgery on his damaged left knee on Tuesday morning. The club will have more details on Perrie's expected return later in the day.
