Walker to debut
The youngest Crow Taylor Walker tonight makes his SANFL league debut for Norwood.
Walker, who turns 18 on Anzac Day (next Friday), has been named on the interchange bench for the clash with Woodville-West Torrens at the Parade. The former New South Wales scholarship player, recruited from Broken Hill, kicked three goals in the reserves last week.
Several other Crows will be in action at league and reserves level this weekend.
Andy Otten will line-up for South in its top-of-the-table clash with Sturt at Noarlunga on Saturday afternoon: Ivan Maric will lead the ruck for Port Magpies against North on Sunday; and James Sellar has been named in a forward pocket for Glenelg, which meets West on Sunday.
Trent Hentschel this evening continues his comeback from a knee injury in the reserves for the Eagles while 2007 draftee Aaron Kite, who hurt his knee in the opening round this season, returns with Norwood for this match.
Tony Armstrong and Greg Gallman will play across half-back for North Adelaide’s reserves while rookie Brodie Martin is in Sturt’s reserves team.
Central District has the SANFL bye this week.
