Sam Jacobs returns to the field for the first time since mid-February in the SANFL tomorrow.
The ruckman, recruited from Carlton at the end of last season, will play for South Adelaide’s reserves (his regular club Woodville-West Torrens has the bye) after recovering from hamstring strains.
Another Eagle, Jared Petrenko, will also be a guest player this weekend for Norwood’s reserves, playing alongside Will Young who is returning after a finger injury.
Sturt plays Norwood under lights at Adelaide Oval tonight, with rookie Aidan Riley lining up for the Double Blues.
In tonight’s other league game at Richmond, Jack Gunston has been named on a wing for Central District and Chris Schmidt will be at half back for West Adelaide.
Ruckman Brad Moran will sit out as Adelaide’s emergency this weekend.
Three Crows - James Sellar, Jarryd Lyons (Glenelg) and Tim Milera (Port) - will be in action at Alberton on Saturday afternoon.
In Saturday night’s league game at Noarlunga, Myke Cook has been named in a back pocket by South while Matt Wright and Tony Armstrong will feature for North.
Rookie Lachlan Roach is playing for North’s reserves.
