Goodwin stretches lead in coaches votes
Simon Goodwin has stretched his lead at the top of Adelaide’s coaches’ votes.
Neil Craig and Dean Bailey awarded Goodwin the maximum five votes each for his 36 possessions and 13 marks on Sunday.
Graham Johncock received six votes after collecting 32 disposals from defence while Kurt Tippett was given five votes for his four goal haul.
Goodwin is now on 31 votes, 14 ahead of Graham Johncock on 17 with Richard Douglas third on 15 votes.
In the AFLCA Champion Player of the Year, head coaches vote each week on a 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 basis. Coaches vote only on their own matches, but may vote for players on the opposing team.
