Unassuming midfielder Matt Wright (four) was the next-best vote-getter, while three votes was enough to keep Scott Thompson in touch with the top three on the overall AFLCA Champion Player of the Year leaderboard after 16 rounds.
NAB Rising Star contender Daniel Talia, who kept promising Giant Jeremy Cameron goalless, was the other Crow to earn a (one) vote. Ball magnets Callan Ward and Toby Greene both polled votes despite the lopsided margin.
