Young Crows defender Sam Shaw is a chance to resume this week after returning to training on the weekend.
Shaw made an impressive AFL debut against GWS in round four but has missed the past two games because of hamstring soreness.
Richard Douglas (hamstring) is on target to be available to play the following the week and Bernie Vince (broken hand) is also some chance of a round eight return.
Aidan Riley, who broke his left hand in the SANFL last week, will be sidelined for another 2-3 weeks and Brad Crouch is also 2-3 weeks away from returning from a hamstring strain.
Adelaide has a light open training session on Tuesday from about 10am.
Wednesday’s main session is closed but the team named to play Geelong will train at AAMI Stadium on Friday from about 10.30am.
Saturday’s game against Geelong at AAMI Stadium starts at 12.45pm, 30 minutes earlier than originally scheduled.
