Young Crow hurt in city assault
Adelaide Crow Luke Brown is making a police report after he was assaulted on the weekend.
Brown suffered damage to some teeth in an incident at a city venue at about 11pm on Saturday night.
Crows football operations general manager Phil Harper said: “Luke was out on Saturday night with some friends when a fight started near his group and unfortunately, although he was a bystander, he was hit in the face.
“Luke left the venue immediately and reported the incident to police outside the venue before he went to hospital to repair his teeth. He will need some further dental work but should not be ruled out from playing for any extended period.”
Brown, 19, was recruited at the end of last year from Norwood.
Club officials have spent the past two days investigating the incident. As the matter is now under police investigation, there will be no further comment from the Club at this time.
