Adelaide’s share of the hearts of South Australian Auskick participants hit record levels this year.More than 70 per cent of the 8604 children in SA who chose an SA team as their favourite AFL club opted for the Crows.This is the best response in the six years these statistics have been collected.However, the Crows have always held a strong advantage over their main competitor in the SA junior market.The Auskick figures since record have been taken:2001: Adelaide 68.3 per cent: Port 31.72002: Adelaide 65.1; Port 34.92003: Adelaide 67.2; Port 32.82004: Adelaide 64.2; Port 35.82005: Adelaide 61.6; Port 38.42006: Adelaide 70.4; Port 29.6Crows commercial operations general manager Phil Harper said: “This result is particularly pleasing as we believe the Auskick supporters of today are our season ticket holders of tomorrow.“We have done an enormous amount of work in South Australian primary schools over the past four years with our Crows in Schools program.
