To listen to a podcast you need a podcast client.
What is a podcast client?
A podcast client, or media aggregator, is software that collects syndicated audio content (mp3's) from different websites, depending on what you have subscribed to, and displays the information in a single consolidated view, like iTunes. Podcasts clients are easily available and often free to download.
What is podcasting?
Podcasting is a method of subscribing to an RSS (Really Simple Syndication) feed which then delivers automatically updated audio files (mp3's) to your podcast client.
For instance, if you subscribe to Crow Call, then each time a new radio show is published to afc.com.au it will also be delivered directly to your podcast client. Then you can either listen to the podcast from your computer or transfer the file to your portable mp3 player and listen to Crow Call Radio whenever you like!
