Wingman David Mackay will rejoin the main group for training tomorrow and is expected to be available for Friday night’s clash with St Kilda at AAMI Stadium.
Mackay missed the game against Fremantle after reporting some hamstring soreness the previous week but he returned to the training track late last week.
Adelaide must make at least one chance this week, with Bernie Vince to miss because of a one-match suspension. Jarryd Lyons, who made his AFL debut earlier this season, could miss between two and four weeks to rest a sore foot.
Rookie Dylan Orval had a knee arthroscopy last week and will be sidelined for 5-6 weeks. Brad Crouch (hamstring) would be available to play this weekend in the SANFL but his team (West Adelaide) has the bye.
Adelaide’s main training session (closed) this week is on Tuesday. The team to play St Kilda will have a light run at AAMI Stadium on Thursday from about 10.30am.
