Cook to debut for South
Myke Cook will make his SANFL league debut for South Adelaide on Sunday.
Cook, who has spent most of the winter rehabilitating from hamstring injuries, has won a spot in South’s side with a string of impressive efforts at reserves level. He had 25 possessions and kicked three goals in his first full game last weekend.
Andy Otten will also line up for South in the club’s last game for 2008 – against Sturt at Unley Oval. Brent Reilly, left out of Adelaide’s team this week, has been named by Sturt.
Five Crows will feature in Norwood’s finals-shaping game against the Eagles at the Parade on Saturday. Luke Jericho and Bryce Campbell return for Norwood and join Taylor Walker but Aaron Kite is out with a shoulder injury. For the Eagles, Jared Petrenko and Ken McGregor are named in defence.
West Adelaide regains Brad Moran but loses Kurt Tippett while rookie James Moss has been named on the bench for Central District. Jonathon Griffin is out with a hip injury.
James Sellar will return from an ankle injury to Glenelg’s reserves side. Rookies Brodie Martin (Sturt) and Ed Curnow (Glenelg) are also playing in the reserves.
North Adelaide has the bye.
