The Adelaide Football Club hosted the APY Lands and Maralinga teams in July as a part of education week.

Over 60 participants were involved in lectures from the My Eye Health team in regards to eye hygiene, eye awareness, prevention and intervention. Ian James from SA Health was also involved in presenting to the group about mental health issues and their role on the APY Lands.

The APY Lands team had an opportunity to have a Kick & Catch session with the Crows Players after training. They spoke to the team and also collected autographs and photos.

After that it was lunch on the Shed floor with Crows Indigenous players Jared Petrenko and Cameron Ellis-Yolmen, as both teams enjoyed a famous barbecue cooked by the Crows supporters group.

To finish off the day there was the High Performance testing where both teams were involved in 20 metre sprint testing, vertical jump and beep tests.

The day at the Adelaide Football club was enjoyed by all and the APY Lands enjoyed the presentations from the My Eye Health team and SA Health and also having the chance to speak to the players about the upcoming game against the Power.

The curtain raiser game was played before the Crows vs Power showdown with final scores APY Lands 17-10-112 defeated Maralinga 5-6-36.
