After a testing four-week block of pre-season training, the Adelaide Football Club is ready to turn the Fleurieu Peninsula red, blue and gold.

Popular South Australian tourist town Victor Harbor will host the Crows for the four-day AFL Community Camp starting on Tuesday but the club will promote the game far and wide in the region.

Four different ovals – at Victor Harbor, Goolwa, Yankalilla and Encounter Bay – will be used by Adelaide for training sessions.

And players and officials will also visit nearly 40 different schools, colleges, hospitals and aged care facilities on Wednesday and Thursday.

Hundreds of children from across the Fleurieu are expected to attend an Auskick Superclinic at the Victor Harbor on Tuesday, starting at 4.30pm.

Other highlights of the camp include Wednesday night’s community footy forum for local sports club administrators, coaches, umpires, players and medical trainers; and Tuesday night’s official dinner at the Hotel Victor.

Some local school students will also receive a thrill when they win the opportunity to play the Crows in a mini-game at Encounter Bay on Friday.
