Round eight of the Toyota AFL Premiership season sees Adelaide taking on league newcomers the Gold Coast Suns, this Saturday 14 May, 2.40pm at AAMI Stadium.

This week’s match day is ‘Kids’ Round’ with plenty of activities and free give-aways on offer as the Adelaide Football Club recognises the support of our junior members and fans!

Fan highlights include the Junior Lap of Honour, where supporters (aged 12 and under) will get the chance to walk on AAMI Stadium right before the game. To take this opportunity, junior members and ticketholders are required to meet at the players' race by 2.00pm. Parents and caregivers can wait for their children at the top of the players’ race until the completion of the Lap of Honour.

Junior members and ticket holders can also pick up all four editions to date of the 2011 Kids’ Player Poster Series! This includes poster #1 Dangerfield, #2 Tippett, #3 van Berlo and #4 Vince. Posters can be collected from the 19th Precinct (located on the lawns adjacent CROWmania) or Wendy’s Fan Zone (outer concourse next to gate 4), both open from 12.40pm.

Other fan activity within the 19th Precinct and Fan Zone includes:

  • the 19th Precinct Players’ signing session (from 1.40pm)*
  • free kids activities, face painting, bouncy castle and rock climbing wall
  • football activities including a kicking competition, sprint test and vertical jump
  • appearances from Claude the Crow
  • give-aways including the match day kids’ player poster series and My Crows Photo: an instant print of you and your favourite Crows player in a souvenir enclosure
  • precinct seating overlooked by the Westpac Centre super screen
  • a choice of food and beverages
  • AFC information and merchandise marquees
  • give-aways from Fasta Pasta and Wendy’s.

The always popular, Be Active Kick and Catch has also been scheduled this Saturday. So bring along you footy and have a run on AAMI Stadium post-match!
