Forward Taylor Walker will miss the next three games after accepting a ban for level three rough conduct against Steven Morris in the last quarter of Adelaide’s clash with Richmond at AAMI Stadium on Saturday.

Walker wasn’t penalised for his tackle at the time, instead a free-kick was awarded against Morris for holding the ball.

However, the Match Review Panel deemed the tackle to be reckless, medium impact and high contact, resulting in a three-game ban with an early plea.

The penalty was impacted by Walker's previous bad record.

The Crows leading goalkicker served a two-match ban earlier this season after pleading guilty to level two rough conduct (dangerous tackle) on Geelong defender Harry Taylor in round seven. The 22-year-old accepted a reprimand for front-on contact against Port Adelaide’s Jacob Surjan a fortnight prior.

In summary, due to his previous poor record, his three-game sanction must remain at three matches, even with an early plea.

Walker would've potentially risked a four-game ban if he contested the charge at the AFL Tribunal and was unsuccessful.

Midfielder Richard Douglas was cleared for his collision with Alex Rance. The Match Review Panel deemed Douglas had no realistic alternative to contest the ball.

Tigers onballer Daniel Jackson was offered a two-game ban for striking Chris Knights in the third quarter of Saturday's clash.

The Match Review Panel's findings in relation to Walker are as follows:

"Based on the video evidence available and a medical report from the Richmond Football Club, the incident was assessed as reckless conduct (two points), medium impact (two points) and high contact (two points). This is a total of six activation points, resulting in a classification of a Level Three offence, drawing 325 demerit points and a three-match sanction.

"He has an existing bad record of two matches suspended within the last three years, increasing the penalty by 20 per cent to 390 demerit points and a three-match sanction. He also has 39.06 demerit points carried over from within the last 12 months, increasing the penalty by 429.06 points and a four-match sanction. An early plea reduces the sanction by 25 per cent to 321.80 points and a three-match sanction."
