It was a disappointing round of Dream Team scores for the Crows, with just two players cracking the ton in Adelaide’s round nine encounter against Collingwood.
Top five DT point scorers
Brent Reilly 101
Matt Jaensch 101
Nathan van Berlo 96
David Mackay 93
Kurt Tippett 88
On the up
Matthew Jaensch enjoyed a career-high 28 disposals against Collingwood, posting his highest DT score for the season with 101 points. The pacey defender is starting to hit some impressive form and has risen $17,900 in value after just six games in 2012.
Tippett brewing
Adelaide key forward Kurt Tippett has been in solid Dream Team form in 2012, with the tall jumping up $21,300 in value. Tippett could have dominated in round nine, but inaccurate kicking (2.4) cost him a monster DT score. The 202cm unit has been impressive over the past few weeks, but hasn’t quite hit his straps… round 10 v Fremantle may be the game he explodes!
Thommo enjoys Patersons Stadium
Look for gun Adelaide midfielder Scott Thompson to rebound in a big way after a disappointing round eight DT performance. The stats show that Thompson thoroughly enjoys playing at Patersons Stadium; in 2011 he amassed 128 Dream Team points in Adelaide’s only game in Perth. The ball-magnet also doesn't mind playing the Dockers, he had a massive 154 DT points against Freo in round three. Might be worth clicking on the ‘C’ button on Thompson this week!
