Adelaide is unlikely to know until later this week if Kurt Tippett and Sam Shaw will be available for Saturday’s clash with Richmond at AAMI Stadium.

Tippett was subbed off at half-time of yesterday’s game against North Melbourne suffering from concussion, while Shaw hurt a knee but finished the game.

This week’s six-day break between games reduces their recovery time.

Jarryd Lyons is the only other primary listed Crow on the injured list. The teenage midfielder should return from his foot injury in a fortnight.

Graham Johncock, who was unavailable the previous weekend with a back complaint, returned via SANFL club Port Adelaide on Saturday. Luke Brown, who missed a game to rest a shoulder, also was back with Norwood.

Adelaide has a light run on Tuesday morning from 10am (Max Basheer Reserve).

Its main closed session will be on Wednesday and then the team to play Richmond will have a light run on Friday from about 10.30am (AAMI Stadium).

Saturday’s game starts at 1.40pm.
