The pair replaces suspended forward Taylor Walker and young midfielder Jarryd Lyons, who has been omitted. Ruckman Josh Jenkins retains his place after a promising debut against Geelong.
Coach Brenton Sanderson said the competition for spots had intensified with both Vince and 2010 best-and-fairest winner Richard Douglas removed from the Club’s injury list.
“A few guys were stiff to miss out,” Sanderson told afc.com.au.
“We’ve been really impressed with Lyons. He’s had three games now, but in two of those three games he was the sub and he understands why he’s out of the team with Bernie coming back.
“Shaun McKernan was in good form, but got suspended and Jenkins came in and made the most of his opportunity. Brad Symes keeps knocking the door down and dominating in the SANFL, as does Brodie Martin.
“Luke Thompson has been really good the last two weeks for the Eagles and was really close this week, and Sam Shaw is another. Sam probably just didn’t do enough at SANFL level last week to be selected, and our backline played pretty well against Geelong.
“There are some guys playing good footy, who aren’t getting the AFL rewards, but they’re knocking on the door. We’re in a good position, having guys in good form.”

Vince, who sustained a broken hand in the Crows’ win over Greater Western Sydney in round four, re-joined the main group for training earlier in the week.
Sanderson said fitness wouldn’t be an issue for the skilful onballer.
“Bernie’s been handling the ball this week and it hasn’t appeared as though his hand is affecting him,” he said.
“He’ll wear a protective glove, but the bone has healed. We put him through a bit of a fitness test and he’s fine.”
Trade-week recruit Lynch impressed in his first three games for the Crows, kicking five goals before being squeezed out of the team to make room for a second ruckman in round four.
The former Saint will slot into the forward line in place of the in-form Walker.
“Lynchy should’ve been disappointed to be out of the side in the first place because he was playing really well,” Sanderson said.
“We decided to go with two rucks after the Hawthorn game because Tippett was in such good for up forward, but had to go into the ruck. It’s hard to replace ‘Tex’ because he’s been in good form and kicking goals, but Lynchy is a really hard working and mobile forward, which should suit our structure.”
The emergencies are Brad Symes, Brodie Martin and Luke Thompson.
Douglas will make his return from injury with Glenelg under lights on Friday night.

“Dougy has just missed too much footy to come straight back in, but he’ll be pushing for selection in the next week or two because he’s really important to us,” Sanderson said.
