In-form Crows Ricky Henderson and Brodie Martin both face stints on the sidelines after sustaining injuries in Adelaide’s 119-point win over Greater Western Sydney at Skoda Stadium on Sunday.
Henderson sprained his ankle in the first quarter of the match. He was substituted early in the second term and will miss a month.
Martin joined Henderson on the interchange in the second quarter after injuring his hamstring, and is likely to miss 2-3 weeks.
Kurt Tippett (concussion) was a late withdrawal from the team to play GWS, but is expected to line-up against West Coast at AAMI Stadium on Saturday.
Forward Jared Petrenko hopes to return from a two-week layoff with a foot complaint. Defender Matt Jaensch missed Sturt’s loss to Central District on Saturday because of groin soreness, but is available to play this week.
Utility Shaun McKernan has avoided surgery on his fractured jaw, but will miss another five weeks.
Adelaide’s main training session on Wednesday is closed, but the team will have a light run on AAMI Stadium from 10:30am on Friday, which is open to the public.
