Defender Jake Lever took charge of our official Facebook account on Wednesday for our latest fans Q&A.
Lever will line up against the club he supported as a child this weekend, and revealed which former Swan was his footy idol growing up.
He also singled out his favourite game of his Crows career so far, and named his best individual opponent.

Shane McMahon: Do you find it difficult to muster up the courage to take those big marks in defence? What goes through your head when you take them?
Jake Lever: I think its really important the way the game is played now that defenders are able to come off and take marks, so as a defender you want to put yourself in a position so you can do so, and if you are take them!
Brendan Ritchie: What's your favourite pie from the Romsey Bakery?
Jake Lever: The cheese and bacon one mate, never fails to impress.
Cooper Twiggy Grech: Hi Jake, how's the feeling in the group after a great start to the season? You’re having a great season to mate keep it up!
Jake Lever: The feeling of the group is great, really positive, but we understand that we have only played three games. Big challenge this week, and we will take each week as it comes.
Mel Ryan: Any tips for a six-year-old that is playing footy?
Jake Lever: Just enjoy the game, work hard and dream big.
Saul Abbott: Have you ever played as a forward as a junior? And is becoming a swingman (fwd/back) in the future a possibility?
Jake Lever: I think the way the game is played now you have to be able to be flexible on where you play. In juniors I have played forward a little bit, but for the time being, I think I'll just stick to trying to become a great defender.
James Galbory: What’s a match that you have played in that particularly stands out to you as a personal favorite?
Jake Lever: The showdown last year (39).
Dalton JD Masterson: Jake, in your short career so far, who has been your favourite player you have played against?
Jake Lever: Nat Fyfe.
Shaye Stephens: Hi Jake, I'm currently going through rehab for a knee reconstruction and am almost nine months post op. Returning to sport seems so far away. Any tips and advice on how you stay motivated while injured and going through rehab? Good luck for the rest of the season!
Jake Lever: Just keep it really positive all the time, make sure you only plan a week or so in advance so that you can keep on track how well you are doing.
Sherrie Hurrell: Who did you support as a child? And who was your main idol player that you looked up to?
Jake Lever: Sydney, and Barry Hall was my idol.
