Crows utility Shaun McKernan will miss matches against Collingwood and Geelong after accepting a two-game ban for striking West Coast midfielder Brad Sheppard.
McKernan was charged with a level four striking offence (325demerit points, three-match sanction). The incident was assessed as recklessconduct (two points), high impact (three points) and high contact (two points).This is a total of seven activation points, resulting in a classification of alevel four offence, drawing 325 demerit points and a three-match sanction.
An early plea reduced the sanction by 25 per cent to 243.75points and a two-match sanction.
Eagles onballer Patrick McGinnity has been offered athree-game ban for rough conduct against Bernie Vince in the final quarter. Theincident, which left Vince concussed, was assessed as negligent conduct (onepoint), high impact (three points) and high contact (two points).

Due to his previous poor record, his three-matchsanction must remain at three matches, even with an early plea.
